Phonika has gone all out this time around to bring you one of the most respected names in techno, a true legend who has been performing on the worldwide stage for many years. The one and only Samuel L Session (Be As One/Soma Music Man) will be in town performing live at Warehouse 702 on his renowned Man With The Case album tour. Samuel L Session will be supported by Womb heavyweight Satoshi Otsuki (Tres Vibes) who will be bringing his very own industrious electronica to the stage. In addition, we are lucky enough to have one of Tokyo`s hottest new live acts in Bein`s Yosa (Resopal/Dirt Crew) whose plaudits include Steve Bug, Josh Wink, Joris Voorn and Funk D'Void to name a few. They will be joined by Phonika mainstays Groove Patrol, Alex Einz alongside new resident Yuki Tsukinaga. We are extremely fortunate this time round to have the metropolis` number one VJ Real Rock Design alongside our very own residents Okon and VJ You as the collective that will be providing the visual aesthetic for the evening. April 3rd will also see our Mono Basics record label begin life as a specialized entity feeding the many mouths of you all with its exotic blend of electronic flavours. Through time there will be some more tasty than others and first up will be the debut of Phonika maestro Alex Einz`s Plastic UFO EP. Featuring the vocals of Jason Young (Phonika) with remixes from Djebali (Freak N Chic/Crosstown Rebels) and Sackrai (NRK/Doppleganger) will make sure this release is tucked away safely in any DJs bag this spring.
