Hiphop. House. Techno. 70'S Rock に影響を受け、DJ として活動をスタートさ せる。のちにアナログシンセやリズムマシンなど、 オルタナティブな音にイン スパイアされたダンスミュージックの製作に傾倒していく。

クリスピーなミニマ ルミュージックの側面と、古典的なハウスミュージックの側面をあわせもつ彼の 楽曲はDamian Lazarus、Steve Bug、Daniel Bell、Dennis Ferrer、Laurent Garnierといった流動的なシーンの中で長くその存在感を維持するプロデュー サー達から"未来志向的なディープハウス"と称され支持を得ている。またライブ セットでは最小限かつ最良の音素材が生み出す緊張感とグルーヴにより、シーケ ンスが進んでいく毎に気が遠のくほどの深海へとクラウドを誘う。さらには今 後、来年に控えるEUツアーや、各国からのリリース、そして自身のレーベルpan recordsの立ち上げなど、国産ダンスミュージックをさらなる高みに運ぶクリエ イションに目が離せない。

Influenced by Hip Hop, House, Techno and 70’s Rock, Ryo Murakami started his career as a DJ, and later began creating dance music inspired by the unique sounds of analogue synthesizers and rhythm machines. His tracks combine elements of crispy minimalism and classic
house into a sound that has been called “futuristic deep house” by such long-standing big names in the scene as Damian Lazarus, Steve Bug, Daniel Bell, Dennis Ferrer and Laurent Garnier. Using tension and groove produced by the finest minimal sound material, his live sets
invite the listener to become lost in a dreamy deep sea. Ryo continues to elevate Japanese dance music to new heights and attract the world's attention with his EU tour scheduled in 2010, numerous international releases and the launch of his own label, “Pan Records”.
